As I was reading this article I began to realize why people want to read zines so much. I have noticed that I too feel like I am being monitored or spied on. Sometimes, passing something to another person on paper seems so secretive and proper.
As well as this, holding something tangible makes for more satisfaction. When I write papers and turn them in through the internet, it is much less rewarding than printing them out and having them on paper. I think that as I learn more about zines and how to write them, I will use it as an outlet to poor my thoughts onto.
