The Same, but so Different

During the summer of last year, my best friends and I took a trip to San Francisco and toured many colleges on the way.   Ivana, who is pictured, and I separately chose the same sweatshirt to buy while we were visiting Stanford.  I was delighted that we found the same thing to buy.  It seemed like this moment showed us that we are more the same than we had thought.  We have a very different choice in clothing and even souvenirs so it was a surprise to everyone when we came out of a giant store, carrying the exact same item.  I was delighted that we had shared this bond.
